IIJ Flex Mobility Service/ZTNA Now Protects Over 300,000 Devices
Absolute Security Strengthens Strategic Partnership with IIJ to Further Drive Cyber Resilience Adoption in Japan
In March, we publicly announced that IIJ Flex Mobility Service/ZTNA, provided by Absolute Security, via strategic partner Internet Initiative Japan (IIJ), now protects over 300,000 devices.
Launched under a partnership agreement signed between the two companies in 2018, the service is built on Absolute Secure Access, a top zero trust network access (ZTNA) solution for controlling access through real-time verification of user and device status based on zero trust architecture. Adoption of the service by Japanese businesses has increased rapidly in response to evolving workstyles, the spread of remote work, and the growing threat of ransomware and other cyberthreats.
Accelerating Demand for Remote Access Security
Remote access has become an essential component of corporate infrastructure, but as a result, remote endpoints are being increasingly targeted by cyberattacks. According to the Absolute Security Resilience Risk Index report, 22% of Security Service Edge (SSE) and endpoint controls fail to operate as intended, underscoring the critical importance of cyber resilience aimed at rapidly restoring operations when security tools malfunction.
IIJ Flex Mobility Service/ZTNA is a remote access service for enterprise that combines secure, seamless remote access with granular access control and security risk discovery through communication monitoring and visualization. Powered by the zero-trust architecture of Absolute Secure Access, the service directly addresses the security challenges faced by today’s distributed enterprises.
“We are delighted to see our collaboration with IIJ contributing to the adoption of zero trust security across the Japanese market,” said Yasuki Aragaki, Country Manager of Absolute Security. “Reaching 300,000 devices represents a major milestone that demonstrates growing awareness of the importance of cyber resilience among Japanese businesses. We will continue to work with IIJ to ensure a secure, resilient remote work environment for businesses in Japan”.
