Absolute Delivers Endpoint Security for Android Devices

Vancouver, Canada: April 19, 2011 – Absolute® Software Corporation (“Absolute” or the “Company”) (TSX: ABT), the leading provider of firmware-based endpoint security and management solutions that reduce IT costs, prove regulatory compliance, respond to computer theft, and optimize productivity, announced that Computrace® Mobile for the Android platform will be generally available on May 3.

Computrace Mobile for the Android platform will provide organizations with:

• Reduced operational costs associated with managing Android devices using the detailed device data collected and reported within the Absolute Customer Center.
• Data and device security to protect the organization and comply with government data breach laws using remote Data Delete and Device Freeze capabilities.
• The ability to track and locate a device with Geotechnology* that includes geofencing and alerts if a device strays.
