Absolute Earth Day Angels Encourage Everyone to Pledge Their Act of Green

Vancouver, Canada: April 2, 2014 – Absolute® Software Corporation (TSX: ABT), the industry standard for persistent endpoint security and management solutions for computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones, today announced the launch of the second annual Absolute Earth Day Angels Campaign in support of A Billion Acts of Green®. A Billion Acts of Green is a simple project with a big goal – to encourage everyone to pledge to make one green change in their lives.

This employee-led campaign begins today and ends on Earth Day, April 22nd, 2014. People from around the world are invited to pledge an act of green and share it online. Absolute Software will donate one dollar* to the Earth Day Network for every pledge shared on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube or the Absolute InTelligence Blog before the end of Earth Day. All participants sharing their pledge will be entered to win an Apple iPad Mini.

Absolute Software will also donate 10 dollars* each time someone views the power management webinar Turning IT into a Profit Center before the end of Earth Day. The webinar shares how a research institute was able to reduce the amount of energy consumed by using Power Management capabilities from Absolute Manage.
