Vancouver, Canada: October 21, 2015– Absolute® Software Corporation (TSX: ABT), the industry standard for persistent endpoint security and data risk management solutions, today announced that Lance Mueller will join Absolute to lead its Incident Response and Forensics professional services team.
In this new position, Mr. Mueller will be responsible for the delivery of professional service capabilities that include security incident response and forensic investigations. This includes endpoint risk assessments, security incident monitoring, forensic analysis, special investigations, incident remediation, eDiscovery, and litigation support.
Mr. Mueller is a seasoned veteran in cyber-related investigations and digital forensics. Prior to joining Absolute, Mueller was a senior forensic analyst at IBM Global Security Services, where he led teams performing risk assessments and large-scale incident response initiatives for enterprise organizations. Mueller has previously held cybersecurity roles at Qualcomm and the U.S. Department of State, as well as a 14-year career working in law enforcement.
