Absolute Software Enters Magic Quadrant for Content-Aware DLP

By: Absolute Team | 1/7/2014

For the first time, Absolute Software has been included in the Magic Quadrant for Content-Aware Data Loss Prevention (DLP) by Gartner. Absolute Software's solution, Absolute DLP, has been included in the Niche Quadrant. This is the first year Absolute Software has been included in this Magic Quadrant, we believe as a direct result of our acquisition of Palisade Systems in 2013 (see more in our press release).

This is our third Magic Quadrant inclusion by Gartner. Absolute Software is listed in the Visionaries Quadrant of the Client Management Tools Magic Quadrant (CMT MQ) for Absolute Manage and in the Niche Quadrant of the Mobile Device Management Magic Quadrant (MDM MQ) for Absolute Manage MDM. We feel that our third MQ inclusion validates that we are offering the right solutions to our customers.

Absolute DLP

Absolute DLP allows organizations to track and prevent the movement of sensitive and confidential records from leaving the enterprise network including data in use, in motion or at rest. It provides users with the ability to analyze data moving across the network, in real-time, and across all network protocols including: email, social media, web traffic, and file transfers.

During the past years, the enterprise content-aware DLP market has continued to experience steady growth, and is estimated to grow an additional 22-25% by the end of 2014. For more about Absolute DLP, read our data sheet.
