Fujitsu recently released their new tablet, the STYLISTIC M532, an Android-based media tablet aimed at the business market. We are pleased to share that every STYLISTIC M532 in North America will come with a one-year license of Computrace Mobile Basic.

The Computrace persistence module is installed into the firmware of the new Fujitsu STYLISTIC M532 Android Media Tablet making Computrace virtually tamper-proof. Customers who purchase devices protected with the Computrace persistence module will benefit from an extra level of security, persistence and support.

Customers will have the option to upgrade from Computrace Mobile Basic to our Standard or Premium editions (see comparison here). Upgrading will give customers access to more features such as our Theft Recovery services and our Service Guarantee.

For IT administrators, the addition of a new tablet into themanagement of BYOD programs couldn't be more seamless; Computrace Mobile allows administrators to manage mobile assets and to take proactive measures on devices that are at risk, whether on or off the network.

"Once Computrace Mobile is activated, IT administrators enjoy a level of persistence that is virtually tamper-proof, allowing them to track all their devices, including the Fujitsu STYLISTIC M532 Android Media Tablet, build geofences to contain assets, remotely freeze a device and delete sensitive information. For our customers, delivering persistence for our mobile device management solutions ensures, unlike other offerings in the marketplace, their devices are always under management." - John Livingston, Chairman and CEO of Absolute Software

Computrace is embedded into the firmware of many new laptops and tablets - see the full list here.
