In our latest customer video, IT Supervisor, George Mitchell, discusses how Mobile County Schools use Absolute Software products to track, manage, and secure their IT assets and provide IT support for the 60,000 students and 9,000 employees at Alabama's largest school district. This case study shows how Mobile County was able to successfully roll out their BYOD program with Absolute products.

Mobile County Public Schools (MCPSS) operates a total of 90 schools in Alabama, with a very large student body and 9,000 teachers and support staff. MCPSS implemented BYOD with the help of Absolute products: Absolute Manage, Absolute Service, Absolute Computrace and, most recently, Absolute Manage MDM.

George Mitchell shares how Mobile County takes advantage of the features in InstallEase to create a custom package of software, pushing an icon to 10,000 desktops in a few hours using Absolute Manage. George himself has loaded the Absolute Service mobile app to his own phone, giving him an instant connection to work orders submitted by any of the 9,000 staff.

“We get to work really close with curriculum instruction. What do you want to do? We’ll make it happen with Absolute products,” shares George Mitchell, IT Supervisor for Mobile County Public Schools.
