Computrace Embedded in New HP Slate 2 Tablet

By: Absolute Team | 11/18/2011

Hewlett-Packard is soon to be releasing their latest Windows tablet, the HP Slate 2, upgraded from its predecessor the HP Slate 500. Like its predecessor, the HP Slate 2 will feature Computrace persistence technology embedded at the firmware level. HP is targeting business users with their new release and we are proud to be a part of their security offering.

Computrace persistence technology provides our customers with a constant connection to all of the computers in their deployment. If efforts are made to remove Computrace from a device, the technology simply rebuilds itself so our customers can continue to track, manage, and protect their assets. No other technology can do this.
