Absolute Software announced a partnership with Latin American manufacturer Lanix to embed Persistence

Lanix is Mexico’s largest domestically-owned electronics company, producing a range of devices including desktops, tablets, ultrabooks and laptops. Under the new agreement, Persistence technology by Absolute Software will be embedded into the firmware of Lanix devices at the factory. By activating Persistence, Lanix customers will receive unrivaled endpoint security and data risk management, allowing them to remain connected with all of their devices, regardless of user or location.

“Our partnership with Lanix is a significant alliance for Absolute and furthers our strategic objectives in this region,” said Geoff Haydon, CEO at Absolute Software. “We look forward to growing our presence in Mexico, bringing a superior level of IT security to Lanix customers, and building a close relationship with such a respected manufacturer.”

Persistence technology from Absolute provides you with visibility and control over all of your devices, regardless of user or location. If an Absolute Software client is removed from an endpoint, it will automatically reinstall so you can secure each device and the sensitive data it contains. No other technology can do this.

This partnership further extends our Persistence coverage, which last week included an expanded collaboration with HP and a partnership to add Persistence to Getac’s global suite of rugged devices. For a full list of devices that support Persistence technology in their firmware, BIOS level.
