A Day in the Life of an IT Manager

By: Absolute Team | 9/17/2012

The life of an IT Manager has changed in the last few years. Our new infographic takes a look at just how much has changed from the 1990s to 2012:

In 1995, there were 152 million personal computers used in office; today, we're talking about 7.9 billion PCs, Macs, tablets and smartphones.

Back when an IT Manager sat behind his desk, listening to cassette tapes and programming in DOS, there were few complications - and those could be resolved with a quick walk around the office. Today, things are very different. Not only can he play Call of Duty at his desk, but he can write iPhone apps and his IT estate can span the globe. He has to be a superhero to manage it, although Absolute Manage means that he can fix most employee issues without leaving his seat!
