Computrace® for Netbooks by Absolute® Software allows you to manage the netbook devices within your organization.  Computrace for Netbooks is available in two editions:

Manage all of your electronic assets with the ease of a single interface (regardless if a device is on or off your company network) within the Absolute Customer Center. Monitor changes in asset information including user identification, and the installation of software/hardware that may not comply with government and corporate regulations. Computrace for Netbooks includes basic reporting capabilities.

Remotely delete sensitive data on missing computers and produce an audit log of the deleted files to prove your compliance with government and corporate privacy regulations.  With Premium Edition you can use the Device Freeze feature to freeze a computer.  Once frozen, you can display a custom message to the user encouraging them to comply with specific requests for action (return for servicing, validate user identity, etc.).

If your netbook is stolen, the Absolute Theft Recovery Team will work with local police agencies to locate it and return it to you. Computrace for Netbooks provides up to five hours of dedicated theft recovery services.

If a computer protected with our Service Guarantee is stolen, we will recover it or you may be eligible to receive up to $1000 per computer.  Certain conditions apply so please read our Service Agreement for further details.
