Acer builds computers with our Absolute Computrace Agent embedded in the firmware.
Once activated, the Agent in the firmware can survive operating system re-installations, hard drive reformats and even hard drive replacements. This level of persistence provides Acer customers with the means to manage, track, and—in the event of theft—recover their computer.
