Absolute will be exhibiting at this year’s education conference in Orlando, Florida

Vancouver, Canada: January 20, 2015 Absolute® Software Corporation (TSX: ABT), the industry standard for persistent endpoint security and management solutions for computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones, will be exhibiting at Booth #1314 at this year’s Florida Educational Technology Conference (FETC) from January 21-23, 2015. The conference will be hosted at Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

FETC is an annual conference that hosts a wide range of education leaders including principals, deans, administrators, curriculum designers, and technology directors. The conference provides a venue for these educators to learn about new technologies and strategies and how they can be implemented to improve the learning experience.

Absolute Software works closely with educational organizations throughout North America, including 21 of the 25 largest School Districts in the United States.* A 20 year history working in education has allowed Absolute to design products and programs tailored to the specific needs of the 21st century school, where learning is often delivered digitally on mobile devices.

With Absolute persistence technology activated on these devices, loss and theft can be mitigated. The Absolute Investigations team will work closely with local police to investigate and recover stolen devices. The team has successfully recovered more than 30,000 devices in 111 countries (and counting).

In 2013, Absolute Software launched Absolute Safe Schools, a comprehensive solution that keeps students and the community safer while securing mobile devices through protection and recovery. Working in conjunction with Absolute technology installed on the endpoint, Absolute Safe Schools provides a safe environment and promotes student security, with prevention and safety education for students and staff. This includes awareness campaigns, “Protected Campus” material, lost & found services, and community outreach.

“FETC offers educators a shared forum to explore the integration of technology and curriculum,” said Geoff Haydon, CEO at Absolute Software. “We are thrilled to exhibit at this year’s conference and demonstrate how educators are implementing our technology to support digital learning in an efficient and secure manner.”
