Codie Award Finalist for Best Data Security Solution
Absolute Software’s flagship product Computrace®Complete was selected as a finalist in the SIIA's 2008 annual Codie Awards in the "Best Data Security Solution" category. Finalists were selected by a panel of experts from the software and information industry.
2007 Awards
Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters – BC’s Top 25 Exporters
Absolute Software has been recognized as one of British Columbia’s “Top 25 Exporters” in an annual ranking by Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters and the British Columbia Ministry of Economic Development. The company has also been selected as one of three finalists in the “Advancing Technologies” category of the annual “BC Export Awards”. Winners are announced during a gala event at Vancouver’s Hyatt Regency hotel.
Business in Vancouver – Top 100 Fastest-Growing Companies
Absolute Software has been highlighted among Business in Vancouver’s “Top 100 Fastest-Growing Companies in British Columbia”. Absolute has enjoyed a 138% increase in revenue between 2002 and 2006 and has recently expanded its operations to include a European office. The results of Business in Vancouver’s annual Top 100 ranking are published in a September issue of the publication.
Canadian Business – Top 300 Small-Cap
Absolute Software placed 6th in Canadian Business magazine’s annual ranking of the “Top 300 Small-Cap Companies” in Canada. As of April 13, 2007, ABT posted a 311.6% increase over the previous year, with a market capitalization of CDN$352 million. The results appeared in a special issue of Canadian Business called The Investor 500 (Summer 2007).
The Branham300 Awards – 2007 Annual IT Revenue Ranking
Absolute Software was named one of the “Top 250 Canadian Tech Companies” on the Branham300, an annual listing reported in Backbone Magazine. In its 13th year of highlighting Canada’s top privately and publicly held IT companies, the Branham300 listed Absolute Software at 104, up from number 153 in 2005. Companies were ranked according to worldwide revenue. Absolute was also ranked number eight on the list of the “Top 20 Movers and Shakers” for companies displaying remarkable growth and at number eight for the “Top 10 IT Security Companies”.

2006 Winner, Emerging Technology Award, 9th Annual International Westcoast Security Forum
Absolute Software’s newest product offering, Computrace Data Protection, was the recipient of the Emerging Technology Award at the 9th Annual International Westcoast Security Forum.
2006 Software Runner-Up, Wall Street Journal, Technology Innovation Awards
The Wall Street Journal, in conjunction with Dow Jones, recently named Computrace Data Protection the first runner-up in the Software Category of their annual Technology Innovation Awards. Overall, the competition received 600 applications from two dozen countries.
2006 Finalist, Canadian Information Productivity Awards
Absolute’s internal implementation of CRM (Customer Relationship Management System) was named a finalist in the 14th Annual Canadian Information Productivity Awards (CIPA) in Toronto, Canada. CIPA calls itself the premier information technology and innovation awards program in Canada. In its 14th year, CIPA provides a national showcase for business excellence originating in all regions of the country. Finalists were selected from more than 200 entries submitted from every region of Canada by organizations of all types and sizes.
2006 Finalist, Most Innovative Company, International Business Awards (The Stevies)
Absolute Software was named a finalist in the Most Innovative Company category of the International Business Awards, also known as the Stevie Awards. The competition bills itself as "The business world's own Oscar Awards".
2006 Fastest Growing Companies List, Business in Vancouver
Absolute was named one of British Columbia’s 50 Fastest Growing Companies by Business in Vancouver magazine. Winners were ranked by percentage growth in revenue between fiscal 2001 and 2005.

Deloitte - 2005 Canadian Technology Fast 50
Absolute Software was named "One of Canada's 50 Fastest-Growing Technology Companies" by Deloitte in 2005, a prestigious annual award honoring Canada's top technology companies. Winners were selected on the basis of “owning proprietary technology that contributes to the company's operating revenue” and “investing a significant proportion of operating revenues in research and development.” One further requirement was that all companies selected were Canadian-controlled and/or headquartered. Absolute Software appeared at number 36.
The Vancouver Sun Top 100 –
2005 Fastest Growing Public Companies & Strongest Public Firms
Absolute Software was profiled in the 2005 Vancouver Sun’s Top 100 list of the fastest growing public companies and strongest public firms. The list is comprised of two pillars of BC’s economy; those companies with the fastest growth and those companies with strong fundamentals. This year Absolute Software was ranked 40th as a result of its rapid revenue growth.

Absolute was named "One of the Biggest Tech Companies in BC" in Business In Vancouver's annual listing, highlighting British Columbia's top privately and publicly held IT companies. Companies named to the list are ranked based on number of local employees. Absolute Software appeared at number 84.
Media & Methods Magazine - 2005 Awards Portfolio
Absolute's Computrace was named by Media and Methods Magazine 2005 Awards Portfolio as a leading technology product and service that contributes to excellence in K-12 schools. The Awards Portfolio acknowledges instructional technology products and services that directly benefit K-12 schools. Winners are selected based on purpose, content, documentation and effectiveness, as decided by a panel of judges from the education sector. Absolute Software has established a long and successful history of working closely with schools helping them track and recover stolen or missing computers.

Absolute was named "One of the Top 250 Tech Companies" in the 2004 Branham300 Annual Canadian Review in Backbone Magazine. The Branham300 is an annual listing and is in its 12th year of highlighting Canada's top privately and publicly held IT companies. Companies named to the list are ranked based on worldwide revenues. Absolute Software appeared at number 153 on the 2004 list, up seven spots from number 160 last year.

Absolute was named "One of Canada's 50 Fastest-Growing Technology Companies" by Deloitte in 2004. Winners are selected based on them owning proprietary technology that contributes to the company's operating revenue, their investing a significant proportion of operating revenues to R&D and being Canadian-controlled and/or headquartered.
